Spring Wellness Without Rush: April Health Guide from Diet to Daily Routine
It’s April, spring is counting down.
As someone who used to “spring fatigue” to the point of doubting life, I’ve summarized a set of spring wellness methods over the years.
Diet: Light Mainly, Less Sour More Sweet
Eat More: Leafy greens, sprouted vegetables, Chinese yam, red dates
Eat Less: Overly sour, greasy/spicy, cold foods
Sleep: Early to Bed, Early to Rise
Ideal: Bed by 10:30-11:00 PM, wake 6:30-7:00 AM
Nap: 15-20 minutes at noon
Exercise: Move, But Not Too Intense
Recommended: Brisk walking, yoga, cycling
Not recommended: Heavy sweating workouts, breath-holding training
