Closet Zoning Method: Fitting Four Seasons in a 2-Meter Wardrobe

My closet is only 2 meters wide but holds four seasons of clothes. The secret? Zoned organization.

It used to be a disaster: stacked clothes toppled when pulled, hanging rod overcrowded, drawers hiding single socks. Then a professional organizer friend taught me: organize by “frequency of use + access method.”

Hanging zone: only current season, frequently worn items. Arrange “long to short” for visual order. The space beneath short items fits storage boxes perfectly.

Shelf zone: bags and off-season clothes. Use upright dividers—one category per box (T-shirts/sweaters/pants), stored vertically so pulling one doesn’t disturb others.

Drawer zone: underwear, socks, accessories. Drawer dividers, one item type per compartment. Worth every yuan—saves the daily digging-anxiety.

Vacuum bags only for down jackets and quilts. Regular clothes wrinkle when compressed. And don’t overstuff—leave breathing room for fabrics.
